How to Use Rip-A-Stitch™
-
Charge it. Use the included USB-C cable. The display shows the battery percentage.
-
Lay the fabric flat. Work on a flat, stable surface and hold the fabric steady.
-
Guide it lightly. Move the cutting head gently along the stitches you want to remove. Use light pressure and let the powered blade cut the thread instead of pressing into the fabric.
-
Clear the threads. Brush away loose threads as you go, and pick out the last fragments with tweezers or curved-tip thread snips.
Removing embroidery? Work from the back of the design where you can, then lift the top threads away from the front.
Start slowly and test on a scrap or hidden area first, especially on delicate or loosely woven fabric.
