These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Thread Works website and services. By accessing or purchasing from this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

4. Payment Authorization

• Charge the full purchase amount
• Perform fraud screening

Orders suspected of fraud may be delayed or canceled.

5. Shipping & Risk of Loss

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the carrier.

For orders requiring signature confirmation, delivery is considered complete upon carrier signature verification.

After confirmed delivery, claims for lost or stolen packages are handled through the carrier. Our team will help customers file and follow up on carrier claims wherever possible.

6. Returns & Refunds

Returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy and, for equipment valued at $1,000 or more, our Equipment Purchase & Return Policy.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to those terms.

7. Product Use & Compatibility

Customers are solely responsible for:

• Verifying compatibility with their machine or equipment
• Proper installation
• Safe operation

Thread Works is not responsible for damage caused by improper use, modification, or installation.

8. Warranties

Products we sell as an authorized dealer include the manufacturer's warranty where one is provided. Manufacturer warranties are governed solely by the manufacturer's terms.

Except as expressly stated, Thread Works disclaims all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thread Works shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Project delays
• Installation-related damages

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

10. Chargebacks & Disputes

If there is a problem with an order, customers agree to contact Thread Works first so we have the opportunity to resolve it — in nearly every case we can fix the problem faster and more completely than a formal dispute can.

Thread Works maintains comprehensive transaction records (order confirmations, delivery confirmation, signature verification, and fraud-screening documentation) and responds to invalid disputes with that documentation.

Fraudulent disputes may result in restriction from future purchases.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content including text, images, logos, and designs are the property of Thread Works and may not be copied or used without written permission.
