SHIPPING POLICY – THREAD WORKS

This Shipping Policy governs all orders placed with Thread Works. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.


ORDER PROCESSING TIME

All in-stock orders are processed and fulfilled within seventy-two (72) business hours of confirmed payment.

Processing time refers to order preparation and shipment handoff to the carrier. It does not include transit time.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

Thread Works reserves the right to extend processing time in cases of:

• Fraud verification
• Payment authorization review
• High-value order verification
• Inventory confirmation
• Carrier disruptions


ORDER VERIFICATION

For security purposes, Thread Works may require additional verification for certain orders, including but not limited to:

• Orders over $750
• Mismatched billing and shipping addresses
• Expedited shipping requests
• Orders flagged by fraud prevention systems

We may request:

• Government-issued ID
• Phone confirmation
• Address verification

Failure to complete verification may result in order cancellation.


SHIPPING METHODS

Shipping carriers are selected at Thread Works’ discretion unless otherwise agreed upon.

All high-value items may require:

• Adult signature confirmation
• Full shipping insurance
• Direct delivery (no forwarding services)


SHIPPING TIME ESTIMATES

Transit times provided by carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Thread Works is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Carrier issues
• Weather conditions
• Natural disasters
• Labor disruptions
• Holidays
• Customs processing (international orders)

Shipping delays do not qualify for refunds.


RISK OF LOSS

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the carrier.

For orders requiring signature confirmation, delivery is considered complete upon carrier signature verification.

Thread Works is not responsible for packages marked “Delivered” by the carrier.

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery to a secure location.


LOST, STOLEN, OR MISDELIVERED PACKAGES

If tracking shows “Delivered,” the shipment is considered fulfilled.

Claims for lost or stolen packages must be directed to the carrier.

Thread Works may assist with carrier claims at its discretion but does not guarantee claim approval.


DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

Customers must report shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery.

Claims must include:

• Clear photos of the product
• Photos of original packaging
• Photos of shipping label

Failure to report within 48 hours may void eligibility for replacement.


ADDRESS ACCURACY

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Thread Works is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

Reshipping fees may apply.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International customers are responsible for:

• Customs duties
• Import taxes
• Brokerage fees
• Compliance with local regulations

Thread Works is not responsible for customs delays or seizure.


SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

Thread Works reserves the right to refuse shipment to:

• Freight forwarding services
• P.O. Boxes (for high-value items)
• High-risk locations
