A little inspiration for your next quilt

Try grouping the warm pink and yellow strips against the cooler greens and turquoise, then use black prints to give each block definition. For a quieter layout, add a solid background so the retro illustrations stand out. The final quilt size depends on your pattern, layout and any extra fabrics you add.

Before you start sewing

Check your pattern’s required cut size and piece count before ordering. Background fabric, batting, backing, binding and a pattern are sold separately. Keep directional prints facing the way you want them before piecing, and follow your pattern’s seam allowance. Prewashing small precuts can cause fraying and alter their dimensions; follow the fabric label and pattern’s preparation guidance.
