Differential feed
A finishing partner for your sewing machine
The S0100 is useful when clean raw edges and stretch-fabric seams are a regular part of your work. Differential feed lets you respond to a knit that waves or a fine fabric that puckers as it moves through the machine. The free arm adds access for smaller garment sections. Keep your sewing machine available for tasks such as standard buttonholes and many zipper applications; a serger expands the sewing workflow rather than replacing every function.
Put the features to work
Stretch garments
Differential feed is particularly useful when a knit edge stretches as it is stitched. Adjusting feed gives you a way to respond to that behavior, rather than accepting a wavy finish. Test the seam with the actual fabric and thread setup before trimming the garment.
Smaller sleeves and cuffs
The free arm helps position appropriate tubular sections around the machine. Choose the thread configuration for your seam or edge finish, and guide the fabric with the seam allowance in mind. A serger adds finishing capability alongside your regular sewing machine.
