The admire air 7000 can sew structural safety overlock stitches that combine an overlock edge with a chain stitch in one pass. For standard hems, it converts easily from an overlock serger to a flatbed coverstitch machine using the clear graphics on the touch screen.
How does the electronic air-threading operate? You simply insert the end of your thread into the looper ports, set the machine to threading mode, and press the button on the screen. An internal pump sends a quick blast of air through the looper tubes, shooting the thread out the looper eyes instantly without tweezers.
Can this combination machine handle heavy materials like fleece or denim? Yes. The machine features an electronic speed and piercing regulator that maintains maximum mechanical puncture force even when sewing slowly. Combined with the adjustable differential feed, it climbs over thick intersecting seams without stalling or skipping stitches.
