The anti-backlash spring helps control the rotation of the bobbin inside the bobbin case, preventing the bobbin from continuing to spin after the machine stops. This ensures smooth thread delivery and helps prevent issues such as bobbin overrun, loose thread loops, or inconsistent tension.
